Foodless Friday

1. Consumption

  • Water:  2 water bottles, 5 min shower, few toilet flushes and handwashes.
  • Food: Pop tarts, no lunch and for dinner one hamburger
  • electricity: the lights and making the pop tarts
  • gasoline: just drove to school
  • money:  none

2. Reduction

  •  I reduced my food in take significantly and i also didn’t spend any money again.

3. Sustainibility

  •   When you think about it this is a very easy task because as Americans even when we are not hungry we eat so i made sure i ate just enough to get me through the day.

4. Following

  • Everyone seemed to accomplish teh goal and found it quite easy.
Technology Thursday

Consumption

Water: Today I took my usual 5 min. shower, three bottles of water and another quick shower after work.

Food: I had a bowl of cereal, a peanut butter and fluff sandwich and for dinner chicken,potatoes and cranberry sauce. 

Electricity: I reduced my electricity usage to this post and the lights.

Gas: I only drove to work and back today.

Money: I spent no money today.

Reduction

I reduced my electricity usage significantly and also spent no money.

Sustanibility

Its very simple to reduce my usage in all categories.

Following 

I feel like today was a very easy day for everyone once they actually commited themselves to the task.

I have found that people are reducing some of their habits very easily.  

Waterless Wednesday

Consumption

Water: Today I took my usual 5 min. shower and I cut down my drinking water to only one per meal.  Also I used dirty dish water to flush the toilet twice.

Food: I had a bowl of cereal, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and for dinner beef stew.

Electricity: I charged my phone and the lights.

Gas: I didn’t use any electricity today.

Money: I spent no money today.

Reduction

I reduced my gas usage significantly and also lowered my money usage.

Sustanibility

Its pretty simple to walk the short distances that I used to drive.

I have found that people are reducing some of their habits very easily.  

Try Harder Tuesday

1.     Consupmtion:

-       Water: 5 min. shower, 8 glasses of water, juice box and washed my hands a few times.

-       Food: bacon,egg and cheese, chicken, mashed potatoes and asparagus.

-       Electricity: Sons of anarchy, phone and laptop.

-       Gasoline: Drove to get new tires and brake pads

-       Money: I had to get new tires and brake pads.

2.     Reduction

-     shortened my time in the shower.

       3. Sustainability

-     Shortening my showers has become very easy so soon.  Also I have found it relatively easy to only spend money on necessities.

No Money Monday

1.     Consupmtion:

-       Water: 5 min. shower, 2 glasses of water, juice box and washed my hands a few times

-       Food: pancakes, peanut butter and jelly sandwich and tacos.

-       Electricity: Football, phone a few times, laptop for 2 hours and Two and a Half men

-       Gasoline: Drove to Lowell and back.

-       Money: none

2.     Reduction

-     shortened my time in the shower and didn’t use my phone nearly as much. Also spent no money.

       3. Sustainability

-     Shorten my time in the shower and on the phone as well as not spending any money.

Social Networking Sunday

1.     Consupmtion:

-       Water: 5 min. shower, brushed teeth twice, washed hands a few times and 3 bottles of water.

-       Food: pancakes, roast chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls

-       Electricity: Football, phone a few times, laptop for abput an hour and boardwalk empire.

-       Gasoline: Drove from Charlestown to South Boston and back.

-       Money: filled gas tank

2.     Reduction

-       shortened my time in the shower, didn’t use my phone nearly as much and didn’t go on the internet for longer than an hour.

3.     Sustainability

-Shorten my time on the computer as well as the phone considering most of it is just to kill time.  Also I can shorten the time I take in the shower.
